Tonight’s figures have just appeared.
vaccinations; 1st doses 20,707, 615 given and 895,412 second doses given.
675,543 tests were done yesterday with 6,385 positive in the last 24 hours. The positive rate has dropped to 89/100k which is a fall of 31.6% in the last 7 days.
There were 12,849 admissions on 1st March, 1,709 are on a ventilator. Only 725 were apparently admitted on 27th February. If correct that is a 28% reduction in the last 7 days but number does not look right to me. This might be the problem tonight . Lets see tomorrows figure.
Deaths were at 315 reported , again this is a 33.8% reduction in the last 7 days. The death rate is now 2.8 per 100k of the population.
All still goes nicely in the right direction. Just stay safe for now by staying apart and staying at home.
